Brooks Nader is full of praise for her Dancing with the Stars partner Gleb Savchenko, expressing gratitude for his encouragement and guidance throughout their time on the show. Speaking at the Clarins Double Serum Generation 9 Launch Party on October 19, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model reflected on their partnership following their elimination from the competition on October 15.
During their time together, romance rumors sparked after the duo was spotted sharing a kiss during rehearsals and backstage, as confirmed by PEOPLE. Nader, 27, commended Savchenko, 41, for his dedication to ensuring she felt confident and performed her best. “He really cares about people,” she said. “He kept saying, ‘I just want to make you look really good and have the best experience with Dancing with the Stars.’”
Nader noted that Savchenko even “arranged that whole pole dancing lesson” to help her prepare for their performance on the Hair Metal Night episode. “He just wanted to make sure I felt great and he cared,” she added. “I feel like that’s rare these days, and I’m so appreciative to have had him as a partner. He’s an amazing guy.”
Despite their elimination, Nader described her DWTS journey as “incredible,” expressing pride in how far she advanced in the competition. “I’m so honored that I made it as far as I did, and I got to end it on such a high note with my sisters in the dance with me and my whole family was there,” she said. While she admitted to having “mixed feelings” about being eliminated, she also acknowledged, “Everything happens for a reason.”
The pair’s elimination came shortly after they got matching tattoos on October 7, displaying affection as Nader received her first tattoo on her hip and Savchenko on his chest. Although she kept the details of her “private” tattoo under wraps, she shared a lighthearted moment regarding her parents’ reaction to the news. “They saw some Page Six thing and were like, ‘How was dinner? Did you do something else?’ and I’m like, ‘No,’” she recounted, laughing about the situation.
Nader concluded that she feels she “won in the end” because she learned and grew so much throughout the process, hinting that this tattoo may be the end of her ink journey, though she left the door open for future possibilities.
