Landon Barker has taken to TikTok to clear the air amid rumors that he attended a Sean “Diddy” Combs-themed birthday party. In a video posted on Oct. 15, Barker, 21, refuted claims that the celebration was tied to his own birthday, saying he simply “ended up in a bad situation.”
Barker, son of Travis Barker, explained that his actual birthday party is scheduled for next week. He shared that he had gone to Nobu with family and friends, after which he decided to go out with friends to a club. According to Barker, a promoter offered them a table and bottle service, but he had no idea about the party’s controversial theme, which allegedly involved baby oil-themed bottle service in reference to a prior police raid on Combs’ properties.
“It was a dark environment, and I couldn’t really see what was going on at other tables,” Barker said. “I assumed they were bringing out tequila bottles, as I couldn’t distinguish what they were.”
Barker emphasized that he didn’t engage with the bottle service once he recognized its context, adding that he simply wanted to celebrate his birthday. A source later confirmed to PEOPLE that Barker wasn’t aware of the event’s theme in advance.
The controversial party drew further attention due to Combs’ recent indictment on charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, to which he has pleaded not guilty. His trial is set for May 2025.
Harriet’s Rooftop Lounge, where the party took place, has yet to respond to requests for comment.
