Tributes are flooding in for Liam Payne, the former One Direction star who died at the age of 31 after a tragic fall from the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16. He is survived by his seven-year-old son, Bear Grey.
Charlie Puth expressed his disbelief and sorrow in a heartfelt Instagram post. “I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I cannot believe he is gone…” Puth shared a video of the two enjoying a laugh together, stating, “I’m so upset right now, may he rest in peace.”
Puth also included a screenshot of a previous conversation with Payne, captioned with “I am so sorry,” along with an additional Instagram post featuring the two without any text.
Zedd, who collaborated with Payne on the song “Get Low,” took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his grief: “RIP Liam… I can’t believe this is real… absolutely heartbreaking.”
Paris Hilton shared her condolences on X, stating, “So upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPayne passing. Sending love and condolences to his family & loved ones. RIP my friend.”
Ty Dolla $ign posted a touching tribute on Instagram, writing, “Just talked to you 2 days ago my guy. Ima miss u fr fr sucio💔💔.” Juicy J also took to X to honor Payne, saying, “R.I.P. Liam Payne wow I can’t believe it. Prayers up for the family 🙏🏿.”

As of now, none of Payne’s One Direction bandmates have publicly commented on the news.
