In a heartfelt proposal surrounded by family and friends, Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles is officially engaged to fellow Olympian Junelle Bromfield. On Sunday, October 13, the 27-year-old athlete shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a video from the day he proposed to Bromfield, 26, just a day earlier.

Accompanied by the song What You Won’t Do for Love, Lyles captioned the post, “To My Future Wife. I Will Love You Forever 💍.” The video captures the couple walking hand-in-hand into a beautifully decorated home adorned with candles, flowers, and rose petals. In the backyard, a heart-shaped arrangement of pink roses framed a neon sign that read, “Will you marry me?”

Dressed for the occasion, Bromfield donned a glittering silver dress and heels, while Lyles wore a black suit accented with gold details. The couple shared their moment with loved ones cheering them on.

Bromfield also celebrated the engagement on social media, sharing a video of herself and her new ring. “ENGAGED💍🥺,” she wrote alongside the post.

The couple’s love story began in 2017, when they first connected through social media. Although their initial date didn’t go as planned, they chose to stay friends. It wasn’t until 2022 that they rekindled their connection, sparking a romance that has since blossomed. Lyles, who won gold in the 100-meter final for Team USA at the Paris Olympics in August, opened up on the Fast Lane Lifestyle podcast in June 2024 about his relationship with Bromfield, saying, “We’re going to grow old together, and it’s going to be forever.”

Their public debut as a couple came in December 2022 when Bromfield joined Lyles at the USATF Night of Legends, where he was honored as Male Athlete of the Year. The next day, both shared photos from the red carpet, confirming their relationship.

In August 2023, Bromfield commemorated their first anniversary with a touching Instagram post, saying, “Cheers to 7 years of friendship 🫂, 6 months of dating 🍽️, 1 year of being your partner 👩🏿‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏾, And to forever loving you ❤️🙏🏿.”

During an interview on the Inside Track podcast in March, Lyles described his bond with Bromfield as his “best relationship ever.” Bromfield added that she was drawn to Lyles for his “brutal honesty,” which she found refreshing and endearing. Lyles reciprocated, sharing how her acceptance and understanding solidified his feelings. “I need this woman in my life,” he said. “We’re going to grow old together, and it’s going to be forever.”

With their engagement now official, Lyles and Bromfield look forward to a future of shared dreams and unwavering support. As the couple prepares for the next chapter, they continue to inspire both on and off the track, showing the world a powerful example of love and partnership.
