Gracie Abrams is making waves in the music industry with a standout year, and her recent performance on Austin City Limits marks another significant milestone. The 25-year-old pop star, who has already opened for Taylor Swift during the Eras Tour and is gearing up for her 2024 sophomore album, The Secret of Us, is “deeply grateful” for this opportunity.

Scheduled to air on Saturday, Oct. 12, Abrams will showcase an intimate set featuring six tracks from her latest album. In a special preview, PEOPLE is debuting two of her performances: “I Love You, I’m Sorry” and “Blowing Smoke.”

As she opened her set with a heartfelt rendition of “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” Abrams expressed her appreciation to the audience, saying, “Thank you so much for coming out. It literally means the entire world. I’ve missed you so much.” Her genuine connection with fans was palpable as she acknowledged the special nature of the evening.

Launching into a powerful version of “Blowing Smoke,” the audience joined in, creating a vibrant atmosphere of shared enthusiasm. Alongside her new singles, Abrams also performed “Risk” and revisited her 2020 EP with the emotional ballad “Friend.”

Abrams shares the Austin City Limits episode with Maggie Rogers, who will be making her second appearance on the celebrated series. This year, Austin City Limits is commemorating its 50th season, which premiered on Sept. 28 with country star Kacey Musgraves.
