Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce made a fashionable entrance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 29, ahead of his team’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Kelce, known for his daring style, sported a striking black jacket adorned with vibrant pink flowers, paired with a white shirt and black slacks.
The 34-year-old arrived with his signature confidence, completing the look with sunglasses, a mustache, and AirPods in, as he focused on the upcoming game. His fashion choices continue to make waves, just as his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, has done with her own standout looks during two Chiefs games this season.
Kelce, a key player for the Chiefs as they aim for a Super Bowl three-peat, is no stranger to pushing the envelope when it comes to personal style. On a recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted with his brother Jason Kelce, he jokingly mentioned that he reserves his mustache for times when he doesn’t have any paid appearances, noting that it’s a look he adopts when he doesn’t have to “team up with a company and look presentable.”
The Chiefs have been dominating this season, entering Sunday’s game undefeated, with wins over the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, and Atlanta Falcons. With a strong start to the season, the team is looking to make history by becoming the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
Kelce’s flair for fashion isn’t limited to the football field. In an interview with WSJ Magazine last fall, he described himself as an “impulse shopper,” explaining that he spends at least three hours selecting outfits for his pre-game appearances. “It really comes down to the wire,” Kelce said, admitting that he enjoys the last-minute scramble to pull together a stylish ensemble.
In addition to his exploits on the field, Kelce is set to make his acting debut in Ryan Murphy’s series Grotesquerie, which premiered on September 25. While his character has yet to appear, his mother, Donna Kelce, expressed her confidence in her son’s versatility. Speaking to PEOPLE at the show’s New York City premiere, she shared that she wasn’t nervous about his acting debut, stating, “I’ve been watching these guys for years… it’s just a mom watching her kids.”
As Kelce continues to shine both on and off the field, his blend of athletic prowess and bold personal style ensures he remains a standout figure in the NFL and beyond.
