In a dazzling turn of events, Chris Brown has cemented his dominance in the R&B world with his track “Sensational,” marking a historic achievement on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart. Less than seven months after making waves with the song, it has ascended to the #1 position, breaking a three-way tie with Usher and Bruno Mars.

Previously, Brown shared the second-place spot on the chart with Usher and Bruno Mars, each with four #1 hits this decade. With “Sensational” becoming his fifth chart-topping hit, Brown now leads the pack, tying with Tank at the top.

Alicia Keys remains the all-time leader with 14 #1 hits. “Sensational,” featuring Davido and Lojay, joins a select group of Brown’s tracks that have lingered for 30 weeks or more on the chart. Notable songs with longer runs include “Come Through” (31 weeks), “Go Crazy” (45 weeks), and “No Guidance” (59 weeks).

This milestone adds to Brown’s recent achievement of being the first artist to surpass 50 top 10 hits on the R&B Songs chart, a feat highlighted just last month.
