Alex Cooper Secures Multi-Million Dollar Exclusive Deal with SiriusXM

Alex Cooper, the dynamic host behind the widely popular “Call Her Daddy” podcast, has finalized a groundbreaking multiyear deal with SiriusXM. This partnership, which is set to kick off in 2025, is poised to revolutionize the landscape of podcasting.

Sources reveal that the deal is valued at up to $125 million over its duration of slightly more than three years, though some estimates place it at $100 million. Representatives for both Cooper and SiriusXM have opted not to comment on the specifics of the agreement.

As part of this exclusive arrangement, SiriusXM will take over from Spotify as Cooper’s primary distribution and advertising partner. The satellite radio giant will now hold exclusive rights to advertising, distribution, content, events, and more for Cooper’s flagship show, “Call Her Daddy,” as well as for her Unwell Audio Network’s lineup of shows. Despite this shift, “Call Her Daddy” will remain accessible to Spotify listeners.

“I am beyond excited to work with SiriusXM,” Cooper stated. “The Daddy Gang will always be my top priority, and with SiriusXM, we will continue to find new ways to evolve and provide my listeners the best experience. The Daddy Gang wants more, so we’re getting ready to give them more… I can’t wait for this new chapter to begin.”

Since its inception, “Call Her Daddy” has captivated a massive audience with Cooper’s candid approach to discussing dating, sex, mental health, and self-care. In 2021, Spotify had invested approximately $60 million for a three-year exclusive deal with the podcast, which originally launched at Barstool Sports.

SiriusXM has been actively expanding its podcast portfolio, recently securing a three-year, $100 million-plus agreement with the “SmartLess” podcast and media company, founded by Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes. The satellite radio and audio streaming company also acquired Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco podcast company for $150 million in 2022, as well as the podcast network and studio Stitcher. Notably, SiriusXM purchased Stitcher for up to $325 million from E.W. Scripps in 2020. The Stitcher app and web-streaming site were subsequently shut down last year, but SiriusXM retained the Stitcher Studios and Earwolf networks.
