BTS rapper SUGA AKA Minyoongi says he violated traffic laws. He shared that he fell while parking his e-scooter near his home and wrote a long letter to apologize to fans after being involved in a drunk driving incident.
The apology letter is as follows:
Hello. I am SUGA.
Unfortunately, I feel very heavy and sorry for posting about disappointing things.
I rode my e-scooter home after drinking at the dinner table last night. Due to the comfortable thought of a close distance and not realizing that e-scooters cannot be used in a drunk state, I violated road traffic laws. While parking the e-scooter in front of my house, I fell alone. There were police nearby, and the alcohol test result was a license suspension and a fine. Although no one was injured or facilities were damaged, it was my responsibility and there is no room for excuses, so I apologize to everyone.
I apologize to everyone who was hurt due to my negligence and wrongdoing. I will be more careful in my actions in the future to avoid such things.
On Wednesday morning, Suga spoke to Weverse and explained how he rode an electric scooter home after a late night drinking session. Currently, Suga is serving in the South Korean military. BTS’s agency said he will face “disciplinary action.”
