Eminem raps, “Do not test like an essay (Why?)/’Cause like where my homies out West, aye (Yeah)/We can just say (What?)/I’m like an R-A-P-E-R/I got so many S-As/S-As/Wait, he didn’t just spell the word rapper and leave out a ‘P’, did he?/Yup/R-I-P, rest in peace, Biggie/And ’Pac, both of y’all should be living/Yup, but I ain’t tryna beef with him ’cause he might put a hit on me like Keefe D, get him/And that’s the only way you’re gonna be killing me (Nah)/Ain’t gonna be on no beat, silly (Yeah).”

The lyrics, “I’m like an R-A-P-E-R/I got so many S-As/S-As/Wait, he didn’t just spell the word rapper and leave out a ‘P’, did he?” allude to Diddy’s former nickname, P. Diddy, and the numerous sexual assault allegations he faces. Since November, Diddy has been embroiled in eight lawsuits involving accusations of rape, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and violence. One notable lawsuit, filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie, was settled out of court.

Eminem’s Return After a Hiatus

Eminem’s latest project follows a significant hiatus. Dr. Dre initially confirmed new music from Eminem on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in March. Eminem himself teased the album’s release with a trailer during the 2024 NFL Draft and later published an obituary for Slim Shady in the Detroit Free Press on May 14. The headline, “Slim Shady Made Lasting Impressions,” detailed Slim Shady’s profound impact on the rap industry, from his underground roots to mainstream fame with the 1999 hit “My Name Is.”
