KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Securing a luxury suite at the Super Bowl comes with a hefty price tag, even for NFL stars like Travis Kelce.
Kelce recently hinted at the staggering amount he paid for Taylor Swift, along with family and friends, to support him from a suite at Allegiant Stadium during Super Bowl LVIII.
A Pricey View
In Netflix’s new docuseries “Receiver,” Kelce discussed the event with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle. They talked about their plans for the big game, particularly regarding who would be cheering for them.
“You guys doing a suite?” Kelce asked Kittle.
“No, I can’t,” Kittle replied before Kelce interjected, “Because they’re f***ing $3 million?”
Kelce then mentioned he wasn’t sure if Kittle was considering sharing a private suite with other teammates.
Star-Studded Support
The Kelce suite was filled with notable guests, including Taylor Swift, Donna and Ed Kelce, Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, and Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, as well as her brother Austin. Swift’s “inner circle” was also present, featuring actor Blake Lively, rapper Ice Spice, her producer RIOTUSA, and stylist-designer Ashley Avignone.
Preparing for a Financial Hit
In February, Kelce joked on his podcast “New Heights” about the financial burden of hosting so many loved ones at the Super Bowl.
“I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come. Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money,” he quipped.
Despite the steep costs, Kelce recently signed a contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs worth over $34 million, ensuring his finances will likely rebound soon.
