Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce found himself visibly emotional during a stop on girlfriend Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour in Amsterdam.
Footage circulating on social media captured Kelce in a suite with his teammate Patrick Mahomes and Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes. During Swift’s piano performance, Kelce was seen wiping away tears, which fans speculate was due to the dedication of the songs to him.
At one point, Brittany Mahomes was observed speaking to Kelce, likely offering support as Swift continued her heartfelt performance. Following the concert, Kelce and Swift were seen leaving the Amsterdam stadium together, with Kelce energizing the crowd to celebrate his girlfriend’s successful show.
The emotional moment for Kelce seemed to be during Swift’s rendition of “Mary’s Song.” The lyrics, “You’ll be 87, I’ll be 89. I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine. In the sky, oh my my my,” reference Kelce’s jersey number, 87, and Swift’s birth year, 1989. Swift also performed “So High School” from her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” a song many fans believe is about Kelce, along with “Everything Has Changed.”
Kelce’s tearful reaction and the subsequent support from Brittany Mahomes highlight the deep connection between the couple, making the Amsterdam concert a memorable and emotional experience for all involved.
