Jennifer Lopez is reportedly seeking comfort from her former flame Drake in the midst of her tumultuous split from Ben Affleck.
For those unfamiliar, Lopez and Drake were romantically involved in 2016 during her All I Have Las Vegas Residency, though their relationship was brief.
According to Heat Magazine, a source revealed that Lopez has been leaning on Drake recently after he reached out to support her during this difficult time. “Jen’s been leaning on Drake over the last few weeks after he reached out to offer his support,” the source said. “He’s helping her get through what’s been one of the toughest times in her life.”
The source also referenced Drake’s openness about his health struggles, noting his candid statement in October 2023 where he emphasized the need to prioritize his health. “Drake’s been vocal about his mental health struggles and is currently taking some time out to focus on his own wellbeing,” the insider explained. “Knowing how in tune he is with his emotional health makes Jen feel very comfortable about being vulnerable and open with him.”
While there is no confirmation if Lopez and Drake are considering rekindling their romance, their renewed connection has certainly provided Lopez with much-needed support.
