Sabrina Carpenter has credited Beyoncé‘s groundbreaking album, “Lemonade,” as a major influence in her musical journey, particularly in exploring diverse genres.

During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the pop sensation, now 25, cited Beyoncé’s 2016 album as a pivotal inspiration early in her career.

“The one album that inspired me to really follow my gut and experiment with genre and not limit myself was Lemonade,” Sabrina shared. “It really transcended every genre.”

Reflecting on the album’s impact, Sabrina added, “She kind of had a little bit of everything in that album, and it really made me feel like I didn’t have to stay in a box from there on out. So thanks, Beyoncé. I love you.”

“Lemonade,” Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed sixth studio album, featured hits such as “Formation” and “Hold Up,” and won multiple Grammy Awards.

Sabrina, who rose to fame with her role in Disney Channel’s “Girl Meets World” in 2014, acknowledged that being in the public eye influences her decision-making process.

“Yeah, I’m not going to lie, I definitely feel more pressure regarding the words I choose and my decisions,” the “Espresso” hitmaker told Vanity Fair. “But I also have to consider that those judging my answers harshly and critically might not excel if placed in the same position. That thought makes me feel a little better.”

Sabrina’s candid reflections highlight her admiration for Beyoncé’s artistic bravery and her own journey navigating the pressures of fame.
