At the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, country star Morgan Wallen got an unexpected surprise mid-performance: a blue thong flew onto his face, catching him off guard and even landing on his hat.
The 31-year-old singer, who recently set a record for the longest run at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, was struck by the undergarment during his performance of “I Had Some Help”. Video footage captured the moment Wallen humorously grabbed the panties and swiftly tossed them back into the crowd on the opposite side of the stage.
Currently on his One Night at a Time tour across North America and Europe, Wallen has been entertaining audiences with his chart-topping hits. Despite the incident, the award-winning artist has yet to publicly address the thong incident following his recent decision to delete his Instagram account.
Throwing objects at performers during concerts is not uncommon, though it can sometimes take a risky turn. Last summer, Wallen found himself dodging a boot tossed by an eager fan seeking an autograph, while singer Bebe Rexha suffered a black eye and required stitches after being struck by a mobile phone during a New York performance.
