South Korean girl group NewJeans made a remarkable debut in Japan with their single album “Supernatural,” topping Oricon’s Daily Single Ranking chart on June 22. The song maintained the No. 1 position for two consecutive days, according to Oricon’s report on June 23. Additionally, “Supernatural” also achieved the top spot on other major Japanese music charts such as Line Music and AWA.
The group’s music videos for “Supernatural” and “Right Now” also gained significant popularity, securing the No. 1 and No. 2 spots respectively on Line Music’s daily music video chart on June 23. Moreover, these singles ranked No. 2 and No. 3 on YouTube Korea’s Top Music Videos chart on June 21.
NewJeans is scheduled to perform their latest songs on TBS’ “CDTV Live! Live!” and will host their inaugural fan meet in Japan, titled “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome,” at the Tokyo Dome on June 26-27.
