Shaquille O’Neal has jumped into the fray between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, adding his own comedic twist. After Lamar’s recent “Pop Out” concert in LA, where he took shots at Drake, the former NBA star couldn’t resist trolling the Canadian rapper.
On Saturday, June 23, Shaq posted a cheeky photoshopped image of Drake sporting a bikini, superimposed onto a woman in a picture from Shaq’s 2019 trip to Spain. The playful jab was accompanied by Metro Boomin‘s “BBL Drizzy” in the background.
The post sparked a range of reactions when DJ Akademiks shared it on Instagram. While some found it hilarious, others thought it made Shaq look more outlandish than Drake himself. One commenter joked, “Drake is photoshopped, but Shaq is actually in this pic! Looks like he’s having fun.” Another pondered, “Imagine the uproar if Drake did something like this instead.”
Shaq had already shown his support for Kendrick Lamar by attending his “The Pop Out – Ken and Friends” concert earlier in the week. The event featured stars like Rick Ross, Dr. Dre, and LeBron James, where Lamar performed his diss tracks “Euphoria” and “Not Like Us” multiple times.
Despite Kendrick’s onstage jabs, Drake appeared unfazed, sharing a casual mirror selfie on his Instagram Story the same day as Lamar’s concert.
