Get ready, Voice fans—two superstar singers are stepping in to help the contestants shine!
On Monday, April 14, NBC’s The Voice dropped some exciting news: country-pop icons LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow are joining Season 27 as mega mentors! That means the singers on the show will get expert advice from two of the most talented artists in the business as they head into one of the most important parts of the season—the playoffs.
Sheryl and LeAnn Are Here to Help!
So, who’s teaming up with who?
- LeAnn Rimes will work with John Legend and Adam Levine to guide their teams.
- Sheryl Crow will join Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé as they prep their singers.
The playoffs start on April 28, and it’s a big deal—this is where each coach has to make the tough call and choose just two contestants to move on to the live shows.
This is Rimes’ first time ever being a mega mentor, and fans are super excited to see her in action. Crow is making a return appearance—she was last a mentor all the way back in Season 4!
Both singers are here to help the contestants prepare for their biggest, boldest performances yet. The pressure’s on, but with these music legends by their sides, the singers are in great hands.
Coaches and Celeb Guests = Star Power
Before the mega mentors arrived, each coach brought in a battle advisor to help guide their teams earlier in the season:
- Michael Bublé brought in the super-talented Cynthia Erivo
- John Legend picked rising star Coco Jones
- Kelsea Ballerini teamed up with country group Little Big Town
- Adam Levine worked with actress and singer Kate Hudson
And speaking of Adam and Kate—they had a pretty funny moment in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“She’s so annoying. She can, like, do everything,” Adam joked when asked about Kate’s singing voice.
Kate laughed and said, “I’ve known Adam since high school!”
When asked if she ever imagined Adam becoming a rockstar, she smiled and said, “Yeah! He loved it. His first band was always playing somewhere. It’s amazing to see how far he’s come—and now we’re here doing this together. It feels so familiar, but still surreal.”
The Drama Continues on The Voice
Meanwhile, the competition is getting intense. Just last week, something big happened—John Legend stole Ari Camille back from Team Adam after Adam chose Britton Moore.
“Ari looked really confident and cool and stylish,” Legend said. “I really think she exudes superpower and since I have the chance to bring her back to Team Legend I was like, ‘Let’s go. Come back home.’”
It was a sweet moment that had fans cheering!
The next episode of The Voice airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, and the knockout rounds are heating up. With LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow stepping in as mega mentors, it’s going to be a star-studded showdown you don’t want to miss.
Who will shine the brightest? Who will head to the live shows? Stay tuned! 🎤🌟
