Looks like Playboi Carti is on a winning streak! His new album MUSIC is once again sitting at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, claiming the No. 1 spot for the third (non-consecutive) week. Fans can’t get enough of it!
The album pulled in 64,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 10. Most of that came from streaming—84.61 million on-demand streams, to be exact. That’s about 61,500 streaming units, with another 2,500 from actual album sales and the rest from individual track sales. Pretty impressive!
MUSIC first hit No. 1 when it dropped in mid-March, and it’s Carti’s second time reaching the top spot. His first No. 1 album was Whole Lotta Red back in 2021.
But Carti isn’t the only one lighting up the charts. The rest of the top 10 is packed with big names and exciting new releases:
Ariana Grande comes in strong at No. 2
PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake land at No. 3
SZA takes the No. 4 spot
Kendrick Lamar sits at No. 5
Rounding out the bottom half are Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen, and Bad Bunny—all holding on to their top 10 status.
Two other exciting entries this week:
Elton John and Brandi Carlile debut at No. 9 with Who Believes in Angels?, scoring 40,000 units
Ethel Cain’s Preacher’s Daughter, originally released in 2022, sees a big bump and hits No. 10 with 39,000 units
Playboi Carti’s fans are clearly loving the vibes on MUSIC, and with numbers like these, he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Who’s ready for week four?
