After more than three amazing years of singing, dancing, and dazzling her fans, Carrie Underwood has officially said goodbye to her Las Vegas residency, Reflection — and it was an emotional night for everyone.
The 42-year-old country superstar wrapped up her final show on Saturday, April 12, at the Resorts World Theatre. This was the same stage where it all began back in December 2021, when Carrie launched the very first show at the venue.
Throughout the 90-minute performance, Carrie gave it her all — just like always. She belted out fan favorites like “Cowboy Casanova,” “Before He Cheats,” and “Church Bells,” while lights, pyrotechnics, and sparkly costumes wowed the audience one last time.
“We are extremely blessed to be able to be on this stage,” Carrie told the crowd, standing beside her band. “There are so many turns of events I know in my life, and I’m sure in these guys’ lives, that only God could have opened those doors and got me to the next place.”
Getting a little emotional, she continued, “It’s been really incredible to be on that roller coaster ride, and definitely recognize that it’s all Him and just all blessings. It has been an absolute honor to get to be on this stage. From all of us, we are so blessed. I’m gonna be reflecting on all that we’ve done here with you guys.”
Over the past three years, Carrie performed Reflection a total of 72 times. The show was everything fans could hope for: big, bold, and full of glam. There were shiny costumes, flashy lights, mirrors, fire effects, and unforgettable stage designs.
“I have always loved touring,” Carrie told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview before her final show. “But having the chance to play for an extended period of time in one place has really been satisfying. I love that we get to do this show for people who have come to Las Vegas from all over the world.”
She also shared how special Reflection was to her and her team. “We always like to bring big production values to our show, but Reflection really allowed us to take that to a new level.”
During the final performance, Carrie kept her cool most of the time — but the emotions started to show at the very end. Her closing song, “Something in the Water” from 2014, was especially powerful.
As she walked down the stage for the last time, her voice cracked just a little. You could feel the weight of the moment.
“Thank you again for coming to Reflection,” she told the audience with a heartfelt smile. “It has been an honor and a privilege, and a pleasure and a blessing to get to be on this stage.”
Even though this chapter is over, Carrie’s fans know this isn’t goodbye forever. With her incredible voice, talent, and heart, she’ll keep shining — no matter where she goes next.
