Morgan Wallen Avoids Bars After High-Profile Arrest

by Coco

Country music star Morgan Wallen has revealed that he hasn’t been to a bar in over a year. This decision comes after his highly publicized arrest in April 2024 for throwing a chair from the roof of a Nashville bar. Wallen shared this information during an appearance on Theo Von’s podcast, “This Past Weekend,” on April 2.

Wallen, 31, discussed how fame has affected his life, saying, “It’s still weird, and there are parts of it that I don’t like.” He explained that even when he’s not bothered by fans, he feels on edge because he never knows what might happen. As a result, he has chosen to avoid certain activities, including going to bars.

Instead of bars, Wallen prefers to go hunting with friends. He finds it easier to relax in more secluded environments. “I can be with my buddies, in the middle of nowhere, at ease, and not stressed out,” he said.

In December 2024, Wallen pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless endangerment charges related to the chair-throwing incident. He was sentenced to seven days at a DUI education center and two years of probation. Wallen’s attorney noted that he has cooperated fully with authorities and remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation. If Wallen completes his probation successfully, his charges will be eligible for dismissal and expungement.
