Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones recently shared an unusual habit in an interview with The Guardian: he enjoys passing gas in front of people. Jones, 69, believes that a person’s reaction can reveal their coolness.
“I like to fart in front of people,” Jones said. “You can tell if someone’s cool or not from their reaction.” He even recalled a time when he farted in front of the late Lisa Marie Presley at a Starbucks. Presley, who passed away in January 2023, looked disgusted, but Jones simply walked into the coffee shop without hesitation.
Jones also reminisced about his time hosting a radio show, where he invited Cliff Richard to appear. Richard, 84, came on the show and performed several classic songs. Jones praised Richard’s professionalism, saying, “They don’t make them like him anymore.”
In other news, the Sex Pistols have announced their first U.S. tour since 2003, featuring original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock, along with new vocalist Frank Carter. The tour will kick off on September 16 in Dallas and conclude on October 16 in Los Angeles, with performances of their iconic 1977 album “Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols” in its entirety.
However, not everyone is pleased with the new lineup. Original lead singer John Lydon, also known as Johnny Rotten, expressed his disappointment with Carter’s inclusion, stating that it could harm the band’s legacy.
