JoJo Siwa is surprising fans with a fresh new look!
At the 2025 Billboard Women in Music Awards on Saturday, March 29, the 21-year-old singer and dancer stepped out in an unexpectedly sophisticated ensemble. Sporting a simple navy blue Gucci suit, Siwa ditched her usual bold style for a tailored double-breasted jacket and matching trousers. To add her signature flair, she paired the outfit with glittery sneakers, accessorizing with a brooch, ring, and necklace for a touch of sparkle.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Siwa admitted the outfit was a departure from her usual choices, sharing, “It came out of nowhere, not gonna lie.”
She also shared a heartfelt update on her personal life, saying, “Life is life-ing, and that comes with good and bad, but it’s all good. My parents are good, my brother’s getting married — I know, he’s old, it’s crazy. My partner is beautiful and amazing, and my dog’s good. Everything’s perfect right now.”
The Billboard Women in Music Awards event at the YouTube Theater in Hollywood, California, saw Siwa looking chic and confident, her simple suit serving as a striking contrast to her typically over-the-top style.
JoJo also discussed her upcoming North American tour, expressing excitement about taking on both choreography and creative direction. “I’m beyond thrilled,” she said. “I want to create something unforgettable, where people see it and think, ‘Aw, I should have gone.’ That’s the experience I want to give.”
Earlier this year, Siwa made headlines for her daring new look at the GLAAD Media Awards. There, she debuted a bold rainbow mohawk, with one side of her head showcasing colors from the Pride flag and the other side in hues representing the transgender flag. The white section of her mohawk was encrusted with jewels, adding an extra layer of glamour.
At the event, Siwa wore a jacket adorned with rainbow and transgender flag details, along with the phrase “Trans rights are human rights.” The back of her jacket carried the powerful message, “Protect trans kids,” paired with a shield and crossed swords. She completed her look with bedazzled shorts and high-top sneakers.
Siwa, who identifies as a lesbian, was accompanied by Kath Ebbs, who she has reportedly been dating since December. The couple was seen embracing at the event, with Siwa even planting a sweet kiss on Ebbs’ cheek.
