Carrie Underwood Reflects On Vegas Residency, Reveals Wild Night Out With Ludacris

by Coco

Carrie Underwood is about to wrap up her highly successful Vegas residency at Resorts World, which has been a hit since its debut in December 2021.

Starting Wednesday, March 26, Carrie will begin the final leg of her Reflection residency, a show she calls a “special honor” as the first artist to perform at the Resorts World Theatre.

The American Idol judge is set to perform her 72nd and final show on April 12. She shared with PEOPLE that while she loves touring, performing in one place for an extended period has been incredibly satisfying. “We get to do this show for people who’ve come to Las Vegas from all over the world,” Carrie said.

Her show, Reflection, has been a spectacle, with sequins, pyro, mirrors, and larger-than-life set pieces that could never be recreated on tour. It features dramatic moments like Carrie setting a Jeep on fire during Before He Cheats and flying above the stage during Something In The Water. But her favorite part? Bringing a fan up to duet during All-American Girl, a tradition from the early days of her career.

Carrie admitted she mostly kept a low profile off-stage during her residency, but one night stood out: attending rapper Ludacris’ nightclub performance after her show. “It was a pretty late night, and we all had an amazing time!” she laughed.

Catch Carrie’s final shows in Las Vegas: March 26, 28, 29, April 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, and 12.
