After cutting his Anita Max Win tour short in Australia, the “God’s Plan” rapper took to Instagram on Monday, March 10, dropping a tantalizing post about his “next chapter.”
The 38-year-old star warned fans that this next phase might leave them “feeling uneasy,” making it clear that he’s about to shake things up.
“I’ve always kept it low-key, never confrontational, and treated this game like a sport where my pen earned the gold, but these days, the spotlight is impossible to avoid,”
Drake wrote in his cryptic caption. “I understand this next chapter may leave you uneasy, but I hope my honesty brings clarity, not charity—especially about those unanswered texts.”
The post, which was loaded with intriguing visuals, included selfies, a picture of Drake at a restaurant, and a snap from The Phantom Thread, featuring actor Daniel Day-Lewis.
But that wasn’t all—Drake also shared a short video of himself in a white fur coat, playfully swatting away confetti, alongside an image of Zofran pills, a medication used to prevent nausea and vomiting during chemotherapy and surgery.
This comes just weeks after Kendrick Lamar took the stage at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show and subtly threw shade at Drake. Lamar’s performance included hidden messages, including an “a minor” necklace and an unexpected appearance by Drake’s ex, Serena Williams, who performed a surprise crip walk.
Drake’s mysterious announcement follows news that his New Zealand and Australian tour dates were postponed due to “scheduling conflicts.”
On February 26, his team reassured fans that rescheduled dates were on the horizon, though ticket holders could request refunds.
Despite the bumps on the tour, Drake made headlines for treating one pregnant fan to a VIP seat and offering $30,000 in Sydney after learning she had been standing in the pit.
