Grammy-winning superstar Lady Gaga recently opened up about a memorable moment from her 2020 MTV VMAs performance with Ariana Grande.
During a Little Monster Press Conference in New York City, Gaga was asked to reveal what she whispered to Grande during their performance of “Rain on Me.” Surprisingly, Gaga admitted she couldn’t recall the exact words, attributing it to the playful nature of their relationship.
“I don’t know [what I said]! It was probably something very silly, because we’re very silly when we’re together,” Gaga shared with a hint of humor. She promised fans that she would revisit the footage and attempt to remember, possibly even asking Grande for clarification.
This performance was part of Gaga’s medley at the VMAs, where she seamlessly transitioned between “911,” “Rain on Me,” and “Stupid Love.” The event marked the first time Gaga and Grande performed “Rain on Me” together live.
