Carly Pearce isn’t having any drama at her shows. During her Feb. 22 performance at the O2 Academy in Birmingham, Pearce took a moment to break up a fight between two fans, sharing her thoughts from the stage.
“We’re all here to just have a good night, you know?” Pearce, 34, said softly. “Girl, I am sick, and I ain’t got time for it, okay?”
She continued, “I love you. I’m just saying. Please don’t make everybody around you angry, okay?”
The TikTok user who posted the moment mentioned that the fan involved in the altercation was later kicked out, as Pearce waved goodbye. “Ain’t nobody got time for that,” she added, as the crowd cheered her on.
Fans praised Pearce’s professionalism, with one writing, “Big respect!! Such a pro.”
The same attendee shared another video where Pearce explained that the show would be a bit different due to her illness. “I promise you we are going to have a wonderful night, and I promise I’m going to give you literally everything I have,” she said, acknowledging she wasn’t feeling well.
Pearce also explained the performance would be more stripped-down, something she enjoys. “We’re gonna do a little bit more stripped down of all the songs, which, if I’m honest, is probably my favorite way to play my music.”
Pearce’s Hummingbird World Tour continues this month, with stops in Milwaukee, Houston, Dallas, Nashville, and more.
