While promoting her new album I Said I Love You First with fiancé Benny Blanco in London on February 18, Gomez met Daniel and his partner, who shared how their relationship blossomed after meeting as fans on “stan Twitter.”
In a TikTok video, Daniel revealed he came out five years ago, and he met his partner online, where they bonded over their admiration for Gomez. He also mentioned that their two-year anniversary coincided with their meeting Gomez. The couple eagerly introduced their relationship to the Hands to Myself singer, who was visibly touched.
“Oh my gosh, you guys. I feel so touched,” Gomez exclaimed, placing her hand on her heart. “I better be invited to the wedding,” she added with a laugh.
The couple might find their wedding song in Gomez and Blanco’s album, which is set to drop on March 21. The album’s first single, “Scared of Loving You,” has already captured the hearts of fans.
In a recent interview, Gomez expressed how her collaboration with Blanco felt natural despite initial nerves, adding that the best part of the process was Blanco’s attentive listening skills. “He was able to almost transcribe it into music,” Gomez shared, giving him credit for translating her feelings into their work.
With the album on the way, Gomez continues to share glimpses of her relationship with Blanco, who recently gushed over her, admitting he worships the ground she walks on.
