Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing serious allegations in a recent lawsuit filed in New York State Supreme Court, where a woman claims he sexually assaulted her after making threatening remarks at a Los Angeles nightclub in 2016. The unnamed plaintiff asserts that during her visit to Club Playhouse in November of that year, Combs approached her with his entourage and offered her a drink. When she declined, he allegedly responded aggressively, instructing her to drink the beverage and be quiet.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff felt pressured to consume the drink after Combs forcefully slid it toward her. Following this encounter, Combs reportedly placed his arm around her and proceeded to assault her, penetrating her without consent while making further threatening comments.
The lawsuit describes Combs as laughing at her attempts to resist, appearing amused by her distress. After the incident, the woman claims she was allowed to leave but felt disoriented and dizzy when she returned to her hotel. Hotel staff had to assist her in reaching her room, where she later discovered injuries consistent with an assault.
The complaint does not allege that the drink was spiked. This lawsuit adds to a growing list of accusations against Combs, with dozens of civil suits alleging sexual misconduct. His legal team has consistently denied any wrongdoing, asserting that he has never sexually assaulted anyone.
Combs is currently facing federal criminal charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering and has pleaded not guilty. He remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, having been denied bail multiple times. A trial is scheduled for May.
