Thomas Rhett shocked fans with a new “tattoo” on his face—though it’s not permanent. On February 12, the country star posted an Instagram Reel showing himself getting the name of his wife, Lauren Akins, inked on his face by a tattoo artist. As the tattoo was being applied, Rhett lip-synced to the chorus of his song “All the Bars Are Closed,” adding a playful wink at the end.
In the caption, Rhett joked, “They said we needed content…” hinting that the tattoo was just for fun. He also asked his face-tatted friends—Post Malone, Jelly Roll, and Teddy Swims—what they thought of his bold new look.
The playful post comes after Rhett released his album About a Woman in August 2024, which reflects his love for Lauren and their growing family. Rhett has been busy balancing family life with music, with the couple raising their four daughters: Willa Gray, Ada James, Lennon Love, and Lillie Carolina.
