Rascal Flatts fans have reason to celebrate! The beloved country trio will take the stage at President-elect Donald Trump’s inaugural events, marking their first public performance since their 2021 breakup. The trio—who disbanded just a few years ago—will reunite to perform at the Commander in Chief Ball on Monday, January 20, alongside rising country star Parker McCollum.
Gary LeVox, the group’s lead singer, expressed his excitement on Instagram, reflecting on the honor of being part of the historic occasion. “I’m so humbled and honored and grateful for the opportunity again to play the inauguration of the 46th President of the United States,” he shared, noting that he had previously performed at Trump’s inauguration in 2016. “Rascal Flatts will be performing at the Commander’s Ball, and I can’t wait for the night to come!”
Although Rascal Flatts disbanded in October 2021, the trio announced their reunion last fall, setting the stage for their highly anticipated 25th anniversary tour, which will kick off in February.
The inauguration ceremony itself will feature an impressive lineup of musical guests. Alongside Rascal Flatts, country powerhouse Carrie Underwood will perform “America the Beautiful,” while tenor Christopher Macchio will sing the National Anthem, and Grammy winner Lee Greenwood will also take the stage. At the Make America Great Again Victory Rally, performances will include Kid Rock, The Village People, Billy Ray Cyrus, and the Liberty University Praise Choir.
In a historic moment for country music and the nation, Rascal Flatts and other stars like Underwood are set to join forces in the spirit of unity and celebration at this high-profile event.
