Get ready, Swifties and football fans! Taylor Swift is gearing up for another exciting night at the stadium, and this time, it’s playoff football. The chart-topping superstar, 35, is set to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce, 35, when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Houston Texans in their first postseason game this Saturday, January 18.
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce confirmed that the “Anti-Hero” singer will be in attendance, and let’s just say, it’s going to bring some serious energy to Arrowhead Stadium. When host Pat McAfee teased whether there would be an extra “aura” in the air with Taylor’s presence, Kelce responded with his signature confidence, saying, “Oh yeah, you know it, baby.”
Of course, McAfee couldn’t help but bring up Taylor’s near-perfect record when attending Chiefs games, which has become a fun talking point among fans. “Is she undefeated?” McAfee asked, noting that out of the 20 games she’s attended (including the 2024 Super Bowl!), Kansas City has only lost three times. Kelce couldn’t help but agree, joking, “You know it, baby,” adding that when Taylor steps into that stadium, the energy shifts, and fans get ready for a win.
But that’s not all! Kelce hinted that his talented girlfriend has been working on new music, teasing an exciting future for Swifties. When McAfee brought up the possibility of a “guy good thing” song coming up, Kelce laughed and responded, “There might be a few new songs on the way.” But when asked if he’s heard any yet, the tight end played it cool, saying, “You know I can’t say…any of that.”
One thing’s for sure: Kelce is all about supporting Taylor in whatever she does, whether it’s on the field or in the studio. “Oh yeah, c’mon now, you know it,” Kelce said, making it clear that he’s there to cheer her on through every creative moment.
As the Chiefs gear up for their AFC Divisional Round game this Saturday, it’s safe to say that Taylor’s presence will bring even more excitement to an already electric atmosphere. Let’s hope her lucky charm status continues!
