In the video, Grande, portraying Galinda/Glinda, sings to her co-star Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba. The lyrics displayed in the clip read: “Popular, you’re gonna be popular / I’ll teach you the proper poise when you talk to boys / Little ways to flirt and flounce, ooh!” However, Grande quickly pointed out a mistake in the comments section. “It’s ‘ploys’ !!!!!! I love you @wickedmovie,” she wrote, clarifying that the correct lyric should be “I’ll teach you the proper ploys when you talk to boys,” as noted in the official sheet music released by Hal Leonard Corporation for the original Broadway production.
