My Chemical Romance is set to make a triumphant return with their highly anticipated The Black Parade tour, celebrating nearly two decades since the release of their iconic rock opera. This tour promises to take fans on a nostalgic journey through the album that solidified their status as one of the most innovative bands of the 21st century.
Kicking off on July 11, 2025, in Seattle, Washington, the tour will span ten dates across North America, concluding on September 13 in Tampa, Florida. The band will perform The Black Parade in its entirety, following their electrifying headlining performance at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas last month.
The tour will make stops in major cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Arlington, East Rutherford, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, and Boston. Each concert will feature a unique lineup of opening acts, showcasing a mix of legendary artists and contemporary favorites. Fans can look forward to performances from rock icons like Alice Cooper and Devo, alongside alternative rock powerhouses Evanescence and Thursday, as well as rising stars like 100 Gecs and Wallows.
Formed in 2001, My Chemical Romance released four studio albums throughout their career. They first gained widespread recognition with their 2004 album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. After announcing their breakup in 2013, the band released a greatest hits collection titled May Death Never Stop You the following year. In 2019, they surprised fans with a reunion announcement, revealing they had secretly reunited two years earlier.
Originally scheduled for 2020, their reunion tour was postponed due to the pandemic but finally took place in 2022. During that time, they also released “The Foundations of Decay,” marking their first new music since 2014.
