Taylor Swift's Superfan Creates Unforgettable Experience For Fellow Swifties In New Orleans

In an impressive display of fandom and community spirit, Rebecca Fox has booked 191 hotel rooms at a New Orleans Holiday Inn, setting the stage for an unforgettable weekend of events surrounding Taylor Swift‘s highly anticipated Eras Tour. This dedicated fan’s initiative, aptly named “Holiday House,” is designed to foster camaraderie among fellow Swifties from October 24 to 28, coinciding with the sold-out concerts at the Caesars Superdome.

Inspired by her own experiences at the Eras Tour, Rebecca, a lifelong Taylor Swift fan, aims to provide an immersive experience that extends beyond the concert. “When the tour was announced, I knew I had to see it before anyone else,” Rebecca shared. Her journey to the opening night was fraught with challenges, including hefty travel costs and missed opportunities to connect with fellow fans. “I didn’t get to trade bracelets or take a photo outside the stadium,” she lamented, which motivated her to create a welcoming environment for fans to gather.

Rebecca’s vision took shape well before Swift announced her New Orleans shows. Anticipating the star’s arrival, she began securing hotel blocks, initially starting with 20 rooms at the Hyatt Regency. However, as interest grew, her block expanded to 191 rooms, leading her to transition to the Holiday Inn when the original hotel reached capacity.

“I fought really hard for every single room and every single person,” Rebecca stated, emphasizing her commitment to keeping costs manageable. Attendees are charged face value for the rooms, with only a $25 deposit required, making it a more accessible option for those traveling for the concerts.

The Holiday House event promises a plethora of Taylor-themed and New Orleans-inspired activities, allowing fans to connect in meaningful ways. From bracelet-making sessions to scavenger hunts, Rebecca’s planning ensures there will be something for everyone. “Before this, I only knew one other Swiftie in New Orleans. Now I have about 40 really dear friends right here,” she shared, reflecting on the community-building aspect of her initiative.

Rebecca’s dedication not only celebrates Taylor Swift’s artistry but also reinforces the strong bonds formed within the Swiftie community. As fans prepare to descend on New Orleans, the Holiday House is set to be a haven for friendship and shared experiences, all while honoring the magic of the Eras Tour.
