Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik channeled his inner Hercules during the Disney-themed episode of Dancing with the Stars on October 22, dazzling audiences with a high-energy Charleston routine alongside partner Rylee Arnold. The duo performed to “A Star Is Born” from the 1997 animated classic Hercules, earning an impressive score of 24 out of 30.
Prior to their performance, Nedoroscik expressed his excitement, reflecting on his recent score of 9 and looking forward to stepping into the role of Hercules. Describing the character as a “goofy guy [and] super strong,” he joked that Hercules “likes to flex,” making it easy for him to embrace the persona.
“I want the crowd to feel the energy,” Nedoroscik remarked, noting how incredible it felt to advance further in the competition. “There’s a chance I could make it to the finale, and I’m gonna do my absolute best to get there! Hercules, you got nothing on me!”
In the hours leading up to their performance, Arnold shared a lighthearted moment on Instagram, showcasing Nedoroscik’s first spray tan. “Oh, he is so ready to be Hercules on @dancingwiththestars tonight!!!” she captioned the clip, which featured the gymnast flexing his muscles in front of a mirror after his tanning session.
Earlier in the week, the pair also paid homage to another beloved Disney duo. Arnold shared a TikTok video of them lip-syncing to “I Want It All” from High School Musical 3: Senior Year, delighting fans with their playful take on the iconic characters.
