In an unexpected twist during a wedding photo shoot at Las Vegas’ Tunnel of Love, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin made a memorable appearance, delighting a couple with his surprising antics. The 47-year-old singer, known for hits like “Viva La Vida,” donned a whimsical disguise, complete with a frumpy oversized brown suit, a yellow button-down shirt, and a blue tie, paired with clunky sneakers and thick-framed glasses. However, it was the bright red wig that truly transformed Martin into an unrecognizable figure.
While Mary Zatezalo and Austin Sanders, a couple from Phoenix, posed for photos, Martin approached them, cheerfully handing out red balloons. The trio shared a few laughs and posed for pictures together, creating a joyful memory for the newlyweds.
Later that evening, Martin continued the fun by visiting the dive bar Dino’s, where he performed “All My Love” during a karaoke session intended for a music video promoting Coldplay’s upcoming album. Videos shared by fans on social media showcased the singer maintaining his comical disguise while clutching the red balloons.
The bar’s Instagram account thanked Martin for choosing their venue for the music video shoot, describing the event as “such a viral moment” and “the biggest surprise of the year.” They expressed gratitude for his visit, wishing him luck on the new album.
This impromptu celebration in Vegas followed Coldplay’s recent gesture to another couple, Paul and Céline Delcloy, who had requested the unreleased song “All My Love” for their wedding. Coldplay made the couple’s day even more special by providing a studio version of the song for their first dance.
As excitement builds for their upcoming album, Moon Music, Coldplay has already released two singles, “Feels Like I’m Falling in Love” and “We Pray,” featuring Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna, and Tini. The band’s 10th studio album is set to be released in its entirety on October 4.
