Taipei, Taiwan — The highly anticipated “Vultures Listening Experience” tour stop featuring Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign in Taiwan has been abruptly canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances,” organizers confirmed on Thursday, August 22.

Reports emerged on Wednesday, August 21, indicating that the event, originally scheduled for Thursday, would not proceed. JSM Cultural Creative Entertainment, the event’s organizer, issued an official statement early Thursday morning, citing issues that hindered their ability to meet contractual obligations. The statement read: “We regret to announce that the Taiwan stop of the Asia stadium tour has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. We deeply apologize to the fans for the inconvenience.”

Ticket holders are advised to contact KKTIX for refunds starting today. However, as of now, the KKTIX website has not yet updated with a cancellation notice or provided refund details, leaving many fans in uncertainty.

In response to the cancellation, Kanye West’s PR team took to X (formerly Twitter) to clarify that neither Kanye West nor his team were responsible for the cancellation. The team reassured fans that the scheduled show in South Korea on Friday, August 23, will go ahead as planned and urged fans to “Stay tuned for any further updates.”

The Taiwan show was part of a highly anticipated Asia tour announced on July 30. Tickets for the Taoyuan Arena event sold out in a record five minutes when they were released on August 1, underscoring the high demand and excitement surrounding the performance.
