In a recent Instagram post, former child star Alexa Nikolas has publicly criticized actress Blake Lively and her film It Ends With Us for including a song by Mike Milosh, an artist Nikolas has accused of sexual abuse and grooming. Nikolas, known for her role as Nicole on Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101, expressed her dismay over the soundtrack choice, which she claims undermines the film’s credibility.
Nikolas, who filed a lawsuit against Milosh in 2021 alleging sexual abuse and grooming, took to Instagram to voice her frustration. She described her disappointment in both Lively and the film, stating, “I can’t say enough how disappointed I am in Blake Lively and It Ends With Us—not only has your rollout of this film been a complete disaster and shame but you also included the music of my known abuser/groomer. There is physical evidence of him grooming me when he was 33 and I was 16. It’s easily accessible on the internet sadly since I had to also take on the emotional labor of exposing RHYE with evidence.”
Nikolas further criticized the film’s choice of soundtrack, highlighting that her lawsuit against Milosh had been highly publicized and detailed the alleged abuse. “It was also a very public lawsuit that goes into great detail about what he did to me. Shame on this film,” she added.
Milosh, who is Nikolas’s ex-husband, has denied the allegations, calling them “absurd and outrageous false claims.” He countered her lawsuit with a defamation claim, but both cases were subsequently dropped. Milosh has consistently maintained his innocence, describing Nikolas’s accusations as “a piece of revisionist fiction” and alleging that she has resorted to “character assassination” in response to his cessation of financial support following their divorce.
As of now, Blake Lively has not publicly responded to the backlash regarding the inclusion of Milosh’s music in It Ends With Us. The controversy continues to stir debate about the intersection of personal allegations and artistic choices in the entertainment industry.
