Micah Plath’s girlfriend, Veronica, has made her debut on television, appearing in the latest episode of Welcome to Plathville which aired on August 20.
In a significant step for their relationship, Veronica decided to step into the limelight after initially avoiding public attention. Her decision came after missing Micah’s participation in the Spartan Race, a renowned annual obstacle course event.
Reflecting on her initial reluctance, Veronica shared, “I never was the person that wanted to be in the spotlight. I liked being in the back of the room, listening rather than being involved. If you told me when I first met Micah that we’d be doing this today, I would have said, ‘There’s no photos of me.’”
She admitted that adapting to public exposure has been a “growing process” for her. The couple, who have been together for over a year, had previously kept their relationship private. However, Veronica realized that participating in the show would allow her to make memories with the Plath family.
Despite her discomfort with attention, Veronica acknowledged the need to engage with the public to create lasting memories with Micah’s family. She humorously recounted her aversion to photos, saying, “The first time I met Micah, he wanted to take a photo together, and I was like, ‘Absolutely not.’ I’d rather have memories in the moment, but to make memories with the family, you sort of have to be on camera at this point.”
Micah expressed his satisfaction with Veronica’s decision to join the show, stating, “I feel like that kind of takes our relationship to the next level.” He added, “I’m really happy you decided to do this because we could spend more time together and you could see my family more.”
Veronica, while acknowledging her progress in becoming more comfortable with filming, responded, “I’m definitely warming up to it.” She shared that their relationship already resembles a marriage, noting that they live together, share responsibilities, and care for three dogs.
When asked about their future plans, Micah chose to remain noncommittal, saying, “No comment right now,” after Veronica teased him about his “awkward silence.” He expressed gratitude for their close bond, saying, “I’m lucky I get to live with my best friend.”
Veronica echoed Micah’s sentiments, tearfully expressing her gratitude, “I tell him every morning, ‘I get to live with my best friend. How lucky am I?’” She added, “I can’t cry, but I’m thankful for him every day.”
The couple also shared glimpses of their daily life, with Micah revealing that he makes coffee for both of them each morning. Veronica appreciated these small gestures, saying, “The little things that he does mean the world to me.”
Micah highlighted their culinary adventures, noting that he has introduced Veronica to new foods. “When I first met her, her diet was so limited, but I’ve gotten her to try new things,” he said, mentioning her newfound love for ranch dressing and salsa.
Micah concluded by sharing his joy in exploring new experiences with Veronica, stating, “I love going on adventures with her and showing her what she’s missing out on.”
