Seoul, South Korea – A well-known rapper, identified as Rapper A, is currently under police investigation for allegedly assaulting a pedestrian in a park.
According to a statement released by the Seoul Mapo Police Station on the 31st, authorities have launched a preliminary investigation after receiving a report implicating Rapper A in the incident. The altercation is said to have taken place on the evening of the 28th, at around 8:30 PM, in an underpass within a park located in the Mapo District.
Witnesses report that the confrontation began when Rapper A allegedly instructed the pedestrian to “push the bicycle properly.” The situation escalated, leading to Rapper A reportedly using his cellphone and other means to physically assault the individual. The victim sustained injuries, including cuts near the eye and damage to teeth.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported and conducted an initial investigation involving both Rapper A and the victim. Both parties were released following the inquiry.
A police spokesperson commented, “We will determine whether to formally charge the individual based on the findings of the preliminary investigation. Should charges be filed, a formal investigation will proceed.”
Rapper A, who debuted in 2010, has gained recognition in the music industry and is also known for his role as a producer on the popular audition program Show Me the Money.
