John Schneider, best known for his role in “The Dukes of Hazzard,” and TV personality Dee Dee Sorvino have found love again after both experiencing the loss of their spouses. Schneider, 64, and Sorvino, 57, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas.
Schneider shared the joyful news on Wednesday, announcing their marriage with a heartfelt post on Facebook. “We got hitched last night in Vegas,” he wrote, expressing his renewed happiness.
Reflecting on his journey since the passing of his previous spouse, Schneider conveyed gratitude and hope. “For those of you who’ve been riding shotgun with me this last year and a half, you can understand that I never dreamed that happiness would be possible again. I’m here to tell you that you are stronger than you think!”
He added a poignant note, acknowledging the influence of their late loved ones. “And those folks who have ‘gone on ahead’ are absolutely not only watching from above but giving us the necessary small nudge… and the occasional kick in the butt to do the right things!”
