Miley Cyrus is gearing up for her highly anticipated ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, set to drop on May 30, 2025. The 32-year-old pop star revealed the album’s stunning cover art, featuring herself draped in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, captured by fashion photographer Glen Luchford.
The image shows Cyrus against a dramatic backdrop of the moon and night sky, capturing the bold, visual storytelling that defines the album.
In her announcement on Instagram, Cyrus shared that the album will include 13 original tracks, executive produced by herself and Shawn Everett. The cover art mirrors the album’s glamorous aesthetic, reflecting her vision for a stylish, pop-culture-infused twist on the classic rock influence behind the project. Cyrus has previously revealed in a Harper’s BAZAAR interview that Something Beautiful is inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall, a film she connected with deeply in her youth.
This release follows her 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation, which included the Grammy-winning hit “Flowers.” Fans of Miley’s evolving sound and style can now look forward to a new chapter of music and visual artistry, with Something Beautiful available for preorder now.
