Gene Simmons Offers Fans a $12K VIP Roadie Experience: ‘Be My Personal Assistant for a Day!’

Gene Simmons is giving fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join him behind the scenes during his upcoming tour. The KISS frontman is offering an exclusive “Ultimate Gene Simmons Experience,” where one lucky fan at each tour stop can become his “personal assistant and band roadie” for a day.

According to Simmons’ official website, the unique package comes with a hefty price tag of $12,495 — plus the original concert ticket price. The special offer allows the chosen fan to assist with load-in at the venue, set up the stage, and witness soundcheck from a privileged spot.

The fan will also enjoy exclusive backstage access, share a meal with Simmons himself, and even receive a special introduction from the rock legend during the show.

The experience is capped at just one fan per venue, ensuring a truly intimate encounter with the iconic performer. To sweeten the deal, the participant will receive a KISS bass guitar previously used by Simmons, turning this memorable moment into a collectible keepsake.

For those unable to secure the exclusive roadie experience, Simmons is also offering a “Gene Simmons Bass Experience.” This package, priced at $6,500 for a non-stage-played bass and $12,500 for one Simmons has played live, includes a meet-and-greet for the fan and up to three guests. Each guitar can be signed and personalized, making it a standout memento for any KISS devotee.

Simmons is set to hit the road in April and May, performing 19 shows across the United States. The tour kicks off on April 3 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California, and concludes on May 24 in Houston, Texas, with stops in Florida, New Jersey, New York, and other major cities in between.

In a recent interview with Guitar World, Simmons shared his perspective on bass playing, notably expressing that he isn’t a fan of certain techniques. While acknowledging Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers as a skilled bassist, Simmons remarked that he doesn’t find Flea’s style memorable.

“There are amazing bass players like Jaco Pastorius and jazz musicians, or guys like Flea, who is really good on his instrument,” Simmons said. “But I can’t remember anything he plays — and I don’t like the sound of a bass being slapped.”

The “Detroit Rock City” star added that he’s more drawn to memorable riffs and simple yet powerful songwriting.

“I don’t like show-offs in music,” Simmons explained. “The hardest thing to do is write a good simple song or riff. That’s really hard.”

With his upcoming tour, Simmons is set to offer fans an unforgettable blend of rock and VIP treatment — for those willing to pay the price.
