On Monday, February 24, Kate Hudson delivered a mesmerizing performance at The Soho Sessions, an exclusive concert series that combines music with philanthropy. The intimate event, held in a downtown Manhattan loft, brought together a star-studded audience, including Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Drew Tarver, Brenda Song, Macaulay Culkin, Gayle King, Richard Kind, and Edie Falco.
Hudson’s dynamic set featured tracks from her debut album “Glorious,” including the heartfelt ballad “Live Forever,” inspired by her son Ryder Robinson. She also performed eclectic covers, such as Miley Cyrus‘s “Used to Be Young” and Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right.” The evening supported two vital causes: Mount Sinai Health Systems and MindUP, Goldie Hawn’s mental health nonprofit, which has helped over 7 million youth worldwide.
The Soho Sessions, produced by Greg Williamson and Nicole Rechter, have raised over $60 million for various charities since their inception. This edition reinforced the series’ commitment to using music for meaningful impact.
