Grammy winner Dua Lipa recently shared a series of photos and videos from her trip to Tokyo on Instagram, showcasing her eye-catching vacation outfits.
In one video, Lipa is seen strolling through a bustling city intersection wearing an oversized gray-brown blazer, a light blue collared button-down shirt, a bold blood-red tie, and opting for shorts instead of pants. Her take on the pantsless trend features light cream short shorts paired with sheer brown tights and knee-high black leather boots with a pointed toe. Completing her look are a crossbody leather bag matching her tie’s color and large gold hoop earrings.
In another photo, Lipa is captured exploring a bookstore in an all-black ensemble, sporting a structured longline jacket, a large woven black leather tote bag from Bottega Veneta, and a New York Yankees baseball cap, exuding a cool vibe.
Discussing her style philosophy in a 2017 interview with Bazaar, Lipa mentioned, “I like having one piece that makes a whole outfit and then you can wear everything else that’s quite simple.” She further added, “I’ve always loved dressing up. I like it when things look like you’ve just thrown them on, and sometimes the things you really do just throw on look the best. I’ve always been inspired by the ’90s, and I like wearing baggy trousers, and blazers with slip dresses and thigh-high boots or leather jackets, and just a mixture of all those together.”
