Kevin W. Dow, aged 51, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer. He remained hopeful until the end. Kevin was a beloved family member and a cherished friend to many, with countless people considering him their best friend. His friendly nature, infectious laughter, witty humor, and kind spirit made everyone feel at ease.
Kevin was born on October 8, 1972, in Palos Heights, IL, to William and Shirley Lewandowski. He spent his early years in Bridgeview, IL, before moving to Arizona with his family after his father’s death.
Kevin’s charismatic personality and sincere desire to help others led to his success in social entertainment and promotions. A passionate sports fan, Kevin remained a steadfast Chicago Cubs supporter while also appreciating the Arizona Diamondbacks. He regularly watched ballgames with friends and his mother when she was alive. Kevin also had a deep love for animals, particularly his Chihuahuas, Honey and Badger. He treasured his friends, who filled his life with joy and laughter.
After his mother passed away, Kevin changed careers and quickly found success in real estate. His bright personality, professionalism, and passion to succeed made him a popular agent among his clients. He was known for being prepared, honest, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and delightful. Kevin’s lively conversations about real estate at family dinners showed how much he enjoyed his work and his life.
Kevin’s presence brought light to family gatherings and friend get-togethers. His genuine care for others and joyful nature added a cheerful and loving atmosphere to any occasion. Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Kevin is survived by his Aunt Marlene; cousins Shelley, Sherry, Lisa, and Janet; sister Kim; girlfriend Jenn; and a wide circle of friends who considered him their “best friend” and “brother.”
