Jeremy Beloate is quickly becoming a rising star to watch. On Monday, Nov. 25, the talented singer delivered a stunning performance of “The Impossible Dream (The Quest)” during the playoffs on The Voice, leaving the coaches—and viewers—moved by his powerful vocals.
Beloate, who is on Team Snoop, had the audience in awe as he sang with raw emotion. After his breathtaking rendition, Reba McEntire, visibly emotional, couldn’t contain her admiration. “I haven’t been that touched listening to anybody sing until you,” McEntire said, tears streaming down her face. “You’ve got a voice that really penetrated my heart. I can see you on Broadway. I want to come see you when you’re there.” Her glowing praise didn’t stop there: “You’re so good.”
Snoop Dogg, also moved by Beloate’s performance, joined in with his own heartfelt reaction. “I’m over here shedding tears of joy, man,” the rapper said. “You made me feel like I was sitting at a real Broadway play. I’m crying and I don’t care… So I guess it’s OK to cry.” He continued, praising Beloate’s emotional impact. “Jeremy, you’re a blessing in disguise. I’m so thankful to have you on my team, and I’m thankful to be able to hear you sing. Thank you, brother.”
In an emotional one-on-one interview, Snoop couldn’t help but express his faith in Beloate’s ability. “You’ve got everything in your toolbox, vocally you’re strong enough to win The Voice,” he said. “There’s not many men who can make me cry when they sing.”
When it came time to make his decision on which contestants would move on to the live shows, Snoop didn’t hesitate to select Jeremy Beloate as his first pick, solidifying his place in the competition.
In addition to Beloate, Snoop also chose Christina Eagle, a fiery country singer who had impressed the coaches with her voice and unique journey on the show. Meanwhile, Reba McEntire chose Danny Joseph and Adam Bohanan to join her team in the live shows.
With the live rounds just ahead, all eyes are now on Jeremy Beloate. It’s clear that he’s on the fast track to stardom, and his coaches have no doubt he’s bound for greatness.
